The project idea is to consider the architecture inside the park Ca Pozzi as part of the soil.

The buildings between trees are designed  such as surfacing existing rocks, like  elements  belonging  to the soil that with a tectonic process emerge from the ground,   leaning  and looking out points of view: a stone.

From the suggestion of a stone picked up on the site, starts a synaptic process that shapes a metallic splinter of a siliceous rock in a complex building  responding to the demands posed by the client.

The buildings conform  and deform  trying facings, lights, spaces between the trees.

The orientation of the building, the first act of '"the architect" connotes the "genetic" of the building:

- Buildings are oriented along the east-west solar thermal axis with two separate entrances, the north driveway (with access to the underground), the pedestrian entrance to the south (with the external part of the building)

interior spaces are oriented so that you can have out  the main spaces on the south side and service spaces on the north one;

differential input of light;

the scalability of the proposed solutions occurs  through a progressive increase along the east-west axis;

correspondence with some aspects of ecological design: orientation, natural ventilation, disposition of beds on the north side

Type / space

The idea is to define a fluid space, a "fabric" with a series of items (scales) that organize themselves around possible uses, a body / fabric, a sort of cabin to "wear".

The fabric is the main topic of composition; it is composed of partitions / flexible containment space structured to organize functional groups.

The compositional strategy is organized according to a sequential series of points:

1_volume - the consolidated concept of volume is attacked  in its monolithic view in favor of a vision of disjointed parts, an organism, a body .

2_surface - the "skin" is the element that contains  the first described corps

3_ surface thickness - from a simple two-dimensional surface skin thickness  obtains a significant  and a  functional dimension of space;

The organization of space is for fields / areas: collective _area (bathroom, living room, study / office, study / terrace, etc.) _playful area (patio, gym, solarium, music, library, etc.) _ individual areas (individual cockpits) .

The living is an action strongly focused on the user, a multiple consumptiom, that constantly changes and models its own house. The challenge is to think a space  not hierarchically structured which  organizational  flexibility  interfaces  with many possible uses of many different users.

Some keywords:

_ use (differentiated);

_inclusion (new spaces), this aspect leads from one side to reflect on the possibility to have  working spaces included inside the home (telecommuting, home office, etc. ..) and another to consider the contraction of time spent to the work in favor of free time.

In the latter case, the house turns (even on a temporary basis) some of his usual space in the multipurpose spaces devoted to leisure (gym, solarium, game room, music room, etc ...).

_flexibility: to answer in a diversified way to a request  of accommodation "on demand" (highly personalized and flexible with multiple configurations, almost like simultaneous car). Each unit (as in a living organism), tends to conform in shapes allowing a balance between the parties including the largest open space possible.

_internal / external: the  architectural volume is opened  with large gashes on the surrounding landscape; there is no continuity between the arrangement of the soil (equipped outside areas) and the building, everything is  a continuum of green parts in which natural and artificial blend  themselves.
