L’Industria delle Costruzioni

498 | Nuovi modi dell’abitare

The new issue no. 498 of IDC (L’Industria delle Costruzioni) reflects on the changes in contemporary living.

Changes that, more broadly, are taking place within our society; changes in social and economic values that are embedded in the continuous transformation of the technologies at our disposal.

These are not stylistic changes, but rather the emergence of genuine new cultures of living that respond to issues of environmental sustainability and flexibility. They concern a community that uses housing as a sort of “living capsule” not only for resting and eating, but also for working, exercising, socializing, and moving through the various stages of life.

Living is increasingly closer to a dynamic service rather than a static and unchangeable asset over time.

GVA has long been working on this apparently simple yet extremely complex theme, rich in multiple facets.
“Adriatic living” is the contribution of reflection and architectural production that we bring to the attention of the national and international scene.
This latest issue of L’Industria delle Costruzioni (IdC 498) dedicates a fine article to one of our most recent projects — DeAmicis154 in Pescara.
