From January 15, 2025, the national presentation meetings of the volume “Imprinting” dedicated to Giovanni Vaccarini Architetti, will take place through the “Incontri d’Autore” program.
Antonino Saggio, wishing to include our firm in one of the first issues of the series dedicated to Italian architecture, has opened a scenario on the Adriatic, on Abruzzo and on Pescara, which is the context from which our architecture takes shape.
The Adriatic is not only a geographical condition, but a condition of our gaze.
The dissertation analyzes the geographical and historical context that constitutes the cultural matrix of the work of our firm. Starting from the “Pescara school” and making his own the reflections of Robert Venturi on the complexity and contradictions of contemporary architecture (and the city), Giovanni Vaccarini’s work makes his own the teachings of old and new masters, combining them with the multiple instances of contemporary design.
