Sport Citadel Mappano

The project for the new sports center is an opportunity to redesign the southern boundary of the city, setting up disconnected pieces between the urban context and the rural landscape.
4Km in an urban reconnection project:
_ New residential area
_ Europa Unita Park + west extension
_ Hotel + new sports and shopping center.
All in 4000 steps (4Kilometers).
40 minutes on foot.
The sports center as a new urban center.
A green infrastructure welcomes the sports infrastructure with the commercial part; the alps hotel is the final part of the whole land / green roof. The alpine landscape and the skyline of the project overlap.
The project is inserted into the existing tracks. The volumes blend with the ground, interpreting the crisis between the urban fabric and the natural landscape.
